As has appeared, on the first sight two perfectly incompatible opposite cultures - East and West - in a combination with each other form original unity. Some ideas of Russell's book "The Problem of China" can be very helpful in solving the actual problems in the sphere of the dialog of cultures. In this book he made the conclusion that the European values cannot be common for every culture. Even nowadays the main western ideals including the "universal" principle of human rights cannot be accepted by many people from other civilizations. At the beginning of XX century Russell called to prevent distinctive China culture from western rigid aggressive politics tending to eradicate its original culture, original values and to substitute them for some kind of European or American life style. According to his opinion these eastern values such as tolerance, can give a very positive contribution to western culture and to solve many problems this way. He was one of the first philosophers of the West who proclaimed the idea of the real equal dialog between different civilizations. This way we gradually leave from western conception of creation of unity in variety and we pass to more neutral variety in unity. Russell in the work devoted to China judges that analytical practice, methodological rationalism do not allow to find the approach to another culture. Understanding can provide intuition, imagination, creativity and openness. Russell became one of first westerners who realized that with the sharply increased communications, extremely intensive interaction of cultures, the mankind as never requires equal dialogue, which is based of mutual understanding in the modern world. Thus, the philosophy as essence of culture appears not only the form of uniqueness of cultures, but also their generality. : . - : . - . :
